Dr. Marilyn Brink
Dr. Brink began working at the Animal Emergency Hospital as an assistant during veterinary school. She found emergency medicine to be particularly rewarding and returned to AEH after graduating from Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She volunteers her time helping with community events, and mentoring MSU veterinary students. Dr. Brink enjoys collecting and restoring vintage My Little Ponies, running, biking, and traveling.  Dr. Brink and her husband have two children, Emmalyn and Bennett, and a wirehaired terrier dog, Mike.

Dr. Lyndi Keizer

Dr. Keizer worked as a veterinary assistant at AEH during her second year of veterinary school at Michigan State University. In addition to finding emergency and critical care medicine interesting in veterinary school, she finds it very rewarding to be able to help pets and people whenever needed. Dr. Keizer grew up in the West Michigan area and is happy to once again be near family and friends, especially her husband, John, and Yorkshire terrier, Pepper. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time at the beach, biking, reading, watching movies, crocheting, and traveling.

Dr. Stephanie Wolffe

Dr. Wolffe is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and then graduated from Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.  She has always known she would be a veterinarian and is passionate about helping people and their pets. In her free time, Dr. Wolffe enjoys hiking, camping, playing sports, and spending time with her cat, Taco, and her Australian Cattle Dog, Dora.

Dr. Elizabeth Francis

After leaving Grand Rapids as a child, Dr. Francis is excited to return to the area to do what she loves! She realized her calling for helping animals by volunteering at an animal shelter while she was studying early childhood education at Ohio University. She scrambled to change her major in her junior year, and graduated with a degree in Biology. She continued her education at the University of Missouri’s College of Veterinary Medicine, where she also worked as an assistant in the intensive care unit and with the emergency medicine team. Dr. Francis loves spending time with her two greyhounds, her Maltese, and her two orange cats. When she’s not at AEH, you can find her getting lost in the woods, hanging around at the beach, around town looking for new beer and tasty treats, or at home reading or baking.

Dr. Samantha Barscewski

Dr. Barscewski graduated from veterinary school at Michigan State University, where she found emergency medicine to be particularly exciting and rewarding. She received her BS in biology from Central Michigan University (Fire up, Chips!) and is originally from north of Grand Rapids. When not working at AEH, Dr. Barscewski enjoys spending time with her husband Nick, photography, kayaking, and exploring Grand Rapids. She has two dogs, a Pug named Cooper and a Golden Retriever named Daisy.

Dr. Lisa Reznik

Dr. Reznik is originally from Bloomfield, Michigan. She received her undergraduate degree in microbiology and genetics from Michigan State University, and attended veterinary school there shortly after. Naturally, she bleeds Green! Dr. Reznik has aspired to be a veterinarian since she was a child, and feels honored to be able to provide emergency services to the West side of Michigan. During her time off, Dr. Reznik takes any opportunity to escape to Northern Michigan and enjoy hiking, boating, and laying on the beautiful Lake Michigan. She also likes to spend her time riding horses, which she considers therapy for the soul. She has two perfect cats named Joey and Moo that run their household.
