Dr Francis earned her bachelor's in biology at the Ohio University, and graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. A non-native Michigander, Dr Francis has fallen in love with the lake, the rivers, the breweries, and everything West Michigan has to offer. Dr Francis is dedicated to helping pets and their families, and has a special interest in blood transfusion medicine and blood banking. When not at Animal Emergency and Specialty Hospital of Grand Rapids, she enjoys spending time with her greyhounds, little fluffy dog, cats, and husband. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, and enjoying Michigan summers on the water.
