Dr. Holmes is originally from Mount Pleasant and earned her undergraduate degree in BioMedical Sciences from Central Michigan University. She then went to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with her DVM degree in May of 2022. It was during her pre-clinical and clinical training that she discovered her passion for emergency medicine. She had always loved the Grand Rapids area and was ecstatic to find an opportunity to practice emergency medicine at Animal Emergency and Specialty Hospital of Grand Rapids to do what she loves, where she loves! In her free time, she enjoys volunteering in wildlife rehabilitation, traveling, reading, baking, and spending time with her rescue cats Lulu, Luna, and Lyric!
