Dr. Matt Grupido

Dr. Matt Grupido's journey in the veterinary field started in a kennel walking dogs. Within a few years, he advanced to working as a veterinary assistant and worked in multiple clinics in Southeast Michigan. He always had the dream of being a veterinarian though and pursued that dream by going to school part time while working.

Dr. Grupido is originally from Sterling Heights, MI and earned his associate degree through Macomb Community College, his bachelor's through Oakland University and  his doctorate as a non-traditional student at Michigan State University.

Since graduating he had been practicing primary care, shelter medicine and relief emergency work. He is thrilled to join AESH full-time to help the animals and clients in need during very difficult times. His clinical interests include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.

When not practicing veterinary medicine he enjoys spending time with his wife Andrea, daughter Avery and two fuzzy feline friends Butters and Glitz. He also enjoys camping, fishing, bonfires and breweries.
