Dr. Demaline is originally from Wauseon, Ohio. Answering the call from the beautiful land of Michigan, she attended Northern Michigan University to study biology and psychology where she accelerated through her courses and was granted early acceptance to Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and earned her DVM degree. She discovered her passion for emergency medicine while in veterinary school and developed special interests in soft tissue surgery and exotic animal medicine. While she has a deep love for animals, it is the human-animal bond between owners and their furry/scaly loved ones that drives her to help all in need. While not originally from Michigan, she has fallen in love with exploring all that it has to offer and the people who live here. She enjoys hiking new trails, kayaking, camping, and above all - trying new restaurants! Her personal pet crew includes two cats, Cassius and Rook, three chinchillas, and two jumping spiders.
